Your Music Guild Board and all the students and faculty THANK YOU in advance for your gift of time and energy!  There is a long list of volunteer opportunities, and we are always adding more so please look for any open slots.

College Showcase

Each year, 100% of BTW seniors graduate from high school and an incredible 98% go on to enroll in college. Many of our students find the perfect post-graduation fit from amongst the colleges, universities and conservatories that attend and recruit during this college showcase.

For 2025 we are scheduled for November 19th-21st, with the College Fair on November 21st.

Showcase Set Up: Tuesday 11/18
Check-In outside Orchestra Room (2nd Floor). Set up the senior lounge and faculty lounge. This includes decorating, unloading snacks, setting up tables, chairs, signage, etc. Put together swag bags for students and visiting faculty.

Check-In outside Orchestra Room (2nd Floor). Escort the visiting faculty between the classroom and lounge. Prior to the start of class, give the visiting faculty the number of students attending. Take student attendance before the class begins. Provide a 10 minute heads up to teacher as the end time approaches. Take a head count. Remain in the master class for the duration. Return attendance sheets to Check-in table outside Orchestra Room.

Recital Walk Monitors
Check-in outside the BTW Orchestra Room (2nd Floor). Responsible for taking the students from the BTW Choir Room to the Nasher Sculpture Center (2001 Flora Street). Once the students are all accounted for at the Nasher, you will be able to watch the performance. Afterwards, you will accompany the students back to BTW. *IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes as you will be walking a few blocks from the school to the museum several times.

Check-in outside the BTW Orchestra Room (2nd Floor). Take attendance at the Nasher door. Provide support for the recital's smooth run. Monitor the performing students backstage to keep them calm, and provide emotional support when they're nervous. *Please note that the recital monitors need to be backstage and will not have an opportunity to attend the recital as an audience member.
